Chiropractor for Hip & Leg Pain

Osteoarthritis, overuse injuries and trauma are some of the more common complaints we see in our practice.

Like the shoulder, the hip is the start of the ‘kinetic chain’ of the leg. The source of pain in the hips or legs must be accurately determined. This is done by taking a thorough history, and taking a physical and neurological examination. Our chiropractors will inspect your spine, gait and posture to get to the core of the problem.

Along with hip pain, chiropractors are skilled in assessing knee complaints. There are many possible causes of knee pain, including, but not limited to osteoarthritis, ligamentous damage and cartilage. Lifestyle factors such as increased weight, overuse of the joint, traumatic injuries and poor gait can all contribute to knee pain and dysfunction.

Most hip and knee complaints respond well to chiropractic care. This includes gentle, controlled and specific adjustments to the areas of your body that are functioning less than optimally, in order to restore proper movement and function. Your chiropractor may also suggest some stretches and strengthening exercises to help speed up your recovery.

Chiropractors are trained to take note of the symptoms; however, we specialise in finding and addressing the root cause of your problem.

If you have a problem that our chiropractors are unable to address, we will be sure to refer you to an appropriate specialist for further evaluation.

We are excited to have you as a patient at Sims & Finn Chiropractic

Our goal is to assess you thoroughly to determine if you have a structural shift in your spine causing secondary condition (symptoms).
We then explain and provide you with care options. We customise a plan of care for you, taking into consideration your age, health and lifestyle factors.
Once we have worked together to create the necessary health improvements, we will assist you in choices to maintain the corrections you have achieved.
