Here at Sims & Finn Chiropractic, our focus is significantly different from conventional chiropractic care. Our focus is called Neuro-Structural Chiropractic, the purpose of which is to correct the underlying shifts in the spine that may be responsible for many symptoms – properly known as secondary conditions.

Dr. Dave is a chiropractor with 26 years of experience, focused on natural, non-invasive care that removes nerve interference to support the body’s healing. A graduate of RMIT, he takes a preventive approach aimed at reducing long-term reliance on medication and invasive procedures by addressing spinal restrictions. He completed his post-graduate diplomate with the American Chiropractic Neurology Board (DACNB) in 2017. 
 
He has a special interest in disc bulges with post-graduate training in disc decompression which he performs using specialised tables. His conservative treatment combines targeted disc decompression with traditional chiropractic methods and is useful for conditions like nerve compression, sciatica and leg numbness/weakness.
 
At home, Dr. Dave spends time with his wife, Angela, and young daughter, Abbie.  Together they enjoy the outdoors, playing UNO, and drawing (Abbie’s masterpieces currently on exhibition in his office).  They are actively involved in their church where they attend on Sundays.
 
Dr. Dave treats patients of all ages and believes chiropractic helps the nervous system function at its best—improving movement, recovery, and long-term spinal health.

Our practice

Dr RT (Tom) Sims started the practice in 1962 when he returned to Dandenong after studying at Palmer College in Davenport, Iowa. Dr Paul Finn joined the practice in April 1989. We now have five Chiropractors who between us have over 100 years of experience.
