Here at Sims & Finn Chiropractic, our focus is significantly different from conventional chiropractic care. Our focus is called Neuro-Structural Chiropractic, the purpose of which is to correct the underlying shifts in the spine that may be responsible for many symptoms – properly known as secondary conditions.

Dr Paul Finn graduated the late 1980s initially heading back home to Darwin and the top end of the Northern Territory.

He returned to Melbourne and joined the practice in Easter 1989, where he and Dr Tom Sims practiced together for 32 years.

He is married to Maral. Oscar is his son who practices in Frankston. Oscar and his wife, Connor are the parents of Mabel – the special granddaughter of Paul & Maral. Paul has completed several postgraduate seminars and has a focus on paediatrics and family wellness care.

5 Fast Facts about Dr Paul Finn

  • He raises black Suffolk sheep and is frequently seen slumping around his paddocks in mud retrieving young lost lambs.
  • He lives on a farm and has an interest in extreme mowing.
  • He is regarded as one of the oldest grommets in the surfing world. Extremely mediocre and hopes to improve one day.
  • Enjoys all things French. He has travelled to France many, many times and has noted with each successive trip he speaks slightly less French than the previous trip.
  • He races a vintage Mini in hill climb events and often comes second or third last. The other slower chaps are in their early 80’s – he is very grateful they are still competing

Our practice

Dr RT (Tom) Sims started the practice in 1962 when he returned to Dandenong after studying at Palmer College in Davenport, Iowa. Dr Paul Finn joined the practice in April 1989. We now have five Chiropractors who between us have over 100 years of experience.
